Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Home Health
Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation
Specialty: PTA Home Health
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day
Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 16:30)
Experience: Minimum 1 year of home health experience required
License: Valid state license required at submission
Certifications: BLS required
Must-Have:
Home Health experience preferred
Experience with Epic charting system
Description:
The Physical Therapist Assistant will provide skilled therapy services in a home health setting.
Candidates must have a minimum of one year of experience in home health.
First-timers are accepted for this position.
Weekends are required every 6th weekend.
The role does not require on-call duties.
Candidates must be open to accommodating a block schedule.
Mileage will be reimbursed.
RTO restrictions apply - no more than 7 days off during the contract period.
Special requirements include previous experience in home health settings and familiarity with the Epic charting system.
The position involves collaboration with physical therapists and support staff to provide quality patient care.
Primary patient demographics include adults and geriatrics with various diagnoses.
Skills required include but are not limited to gait training, assistive devices, and patient family education.
Flexibility is required for potential patient care needs in the community.
