Job Summary: The Marketing Specialist will play a key role in promoting Mather’s products and services by overseeing content creation, coordinating marketing campaigns, and supporting event planning efforts. This role requires a strong understanding of Mather’s offerings and market positioning, with the ability to translate that knowledge into clear, compelling marketing efforts. Experience in professional services, consulting, or SaaS marketing is strongly preferred.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None. This role reports to the Director of Strategic Marketing, who reports to the Global Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Requirements Key Responsibilities 1. Content Creation & Management (35%) Develop and manage a content calendar aligned with company goals and campaign priorities. Write and edit content for a variety of channels, including blogs, newsletters, emails, social media, and event promotions. Create polished marketing materials and digital assets in collaboration with internal stakeholders. Ensure all content reflects Mather’s brand voice, accuracy, and consistency. 2. Campaign Execution & Performance (20%) Plan and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns (email, website, paid and organic social, and search). Own the email marketing strategy, including newsletters, eBlasts, and campaign automation. Manage contact segmentation and targeting to ensure relevant, personalized outreach across audience types. Define goals, track performance, and analyze results using platforms such as HubSpot, Google Analytics, and others. Present key takeaways and actionable recommendations to senior stakeholders in clear, concise summaries. Continuously optimize campaigns based on results and stakeholder feedback. 3. Event Marketing & Coordination (20%) Maintain and manage the event calendar, supporting company and partner events. Organize logistics for webinars, conferences, and sponsored events in partnership with internal and external teams. Own the event marketing budget, track registrations and deliverables, and ensure clear internal communication on all event-related needs. Represent Mather at events as needed. 4. Marketing Strategy & Planning (15%) Contribute to marketing planning cycles by helping define campaign priorities, messaging strategies, and content themes. Conduct market and audience research to identify trends, competitive opportunities, and areas for brand growth. Stay current with the latest marketing trends, tools, and best practices to continuously inform Mather’s marketing approach. 5. Website & Social Media Management (10%) Own and maintain the company website, creating new landing pages, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating with external developers as needed. Optimize website content and structure for SEO to improve organic search performance. Manage and grow the company’s social media presence by developing content, scheduling posts, and engaging with followers. Required Skills and Abilities: Strong understanding of digital marketing concepts and best practices, with hands-on experience in B2B environments. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling content and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Strong creative instincts and a sharp eye for design, with the ability to produce visually polished, brand-aligned content. Proficient in marketing platforms and tools such as HubSpot, Google Analytics, Google Ads, LinkedIn, MailChimp, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and others. Skilled in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Highly organized and able to manage multiple deadlines; seeks input as needed but works independently with accountability. Exceptional attention to detail and ability to interpret data to shape clear, compelling marketing narratives. Experience using Jira (or similar tools) to manage tasks, track deadlines, surface risks, and communicate progress across platforms such as Slack, email, and Jira itself. Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, Advertising, Communications, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred. 3–5 years of proven experience in a digital marketing or similar role, ideally in a B2B environment.
