The Marketing team connects individuals with trusted mental health care through cohesive strategic communication, thoughtful design, and cross-functional collaboration. The Marketing Specialist will support day-to-day execution across multiple marketing functions, including social media, content creation, event support, and reporting. 30% Content & Campaign Execution
Coordinate social media content, blog posts, newsletters, and email campaigns Support content development and directories as needed
20% Multi-Channel Campaign Planning & Coordination
Contribute to planning and creative brief documentation Execute campaign strategy across digital and offline channels
20% Analytics & Reporting, Market Research & Competitive Insights
Track campaign performance, website analytics, and KPIs Support messaging, positioning, and campaign targeting
15% Events & Community Engagement
Logistics and marketing support for conferences, webinars, partner events, etc.
15% Ad Hoc Projects / Cross-Functional Collaboration
Contribute to Marketing Ops ad-hoc assignments Support cross-team activities for internal materials, partnerships, and workflow needs Provide direct and tangible support to the Director of Marketing, including improvements to marketing operations and processes Coordinate task management within projects and workflow boards (e.g., Monday.com) and ensure deadlines are met Facilitate creative brief development, align timelines, and ensure deliverables meet brand standards Ensure all marketing materials reflect Rivia Mind's mission and values and adhere to the brand guide Manage social media channels, develop content aligned with the strategy, and design visuals with minimal support Publish monthly newsletters to distinct audience segments Collaborate with Content Writer to craft or edit content for blog posts and campaigns Create basic visual assets using tools like Google Suite, Canva, or Adobe Develop content for distinct audiences (patients, providers, universities, internal staff) and tailor messaging accordingly Assist with multi-channel content development and distribution Support cross-channel marketing and advertising campaigns through research, coordination, and project management Track performance metrics and format for reporting Conduct market and competitor research to inform strategies Collaborate with stakeholders to keep content current and accurate Provide general marketing support, including presentations and materials Support outreach initiatives with data-driven content and collaboration Coordinate with Outreach team for conferences, webinars, and events, including collateral and booth materials Serve as secondary owner for provider directory management systems when needed Support upkeep of the organization’s website, online profiles, and provider directories Promote a collaborative, inclusive culture that supports well-being and growth
Qualifications
Education in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or similar (or equivalent experience) 3-5 years in marketing/communications or content-related roles (healthcare or mission-driven organizations a plus) Not a entry-level role; requires strategic thinking and multi-channel execution Proven ability to work fully remotely with strong self-management Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills Experience with audience segmentation and tailoring messages for varied stakeholders Demonstrated ability to manage campaigns and content strategy independently Proficiency with social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook) and scheduling tools (Buffer, Later, Sprout Social) Basic graphic design ability using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities Collaborative, open to feedback, and curious Passion for mental health and inclusive, stigma-free communication Familiarity with CRMs and email marketing tools (e.g., Mailchimp, Salesforce, Monday.com) is a plus Analytical mindset with the ability to track and report performance data Benefits
