The Shamrock Group has an opening for a full-time Mechanic to help keep our fleet of trucks, trailers, and autos on the local roads.

You and your team will perform maintenance, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair our fleet of almost 100 vehicles. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years industry experience, and preference will be given to those with a valid CDL. Previous experience completing repairs to *Peterbilt, Kenworth, Freightliner, is a plus

Compensation : $26.00 - $32.00/hour. Offer depends on experience. Full benefits are also offered 61 days after hire including medical, dental, vision. 401k available after 1 year.

Full Time Monday - Friday. Some On-call .

Mechanic Requirements :

  High School degree or GED

  n

• n

  Trade school certification in automotive or truck maintenance and repair

  n

• n

  Minimum of one year experience in diesel along with other automotive

  n
n
• n

  Strong mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills

  n
n
• n

  Demonstrated knowledge of maintenance work on light to heavy duty class trucks

  n
n
• n

  Valid Driver’s license and good driving record

  n
n
• n

  Ability to perform physical requirements of the position

  n
n
• n

  Successfully complete pre-employment drug screen, and background check

  n
n
