SUMMARY: We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Contract Specialist to join our Finance Operational Support team. This full-time position is primarily on-site, with potential for a hybrid schedule after training (SHIFT).
Purpose of this position: To support HHS Business Partners in achieving financial revenue goals. The ARCS leads negotiations of sales contracts, ensuring compliance with HHS policies, laws, and regulations. The role involves revenue enhancement, pricing, data analysis, and ensuring contractual compliance with external customers and stakeholders.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with stakeholders on revenue initiatives
- Manage and negotiate with parties including leadership, clinicians, legal, and customers
- Lead negotiations to maximize value for HHS
- Ensure understanding and prioritization of contract requirements
- Maintain contract lists and monitor performance and compliance
- Document risks and opportunities related to contracts
- Communicate contract requirements effectively, including education on data confidentiality and strategies
- Provide contract assessments and data analysis to senior management and departments
- Develop and communicate policies related to contracting processes
- Monitor key metrics for stakeholder satisfaction
- Perform additional duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in business, finance, supply chain, or related field
- Three years of responsible experience in sales, sourcing, or purchasing

- Equivalent combination of training and experience, including military or government experience, or related work experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Over five years of experience in finance, sourcing, or purchasing
- Experience in hospital finance, especially selling professional services
- Proven leadership in organizational change
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Knowledge of state and federal purchasing, sales, and contract law
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/MIS systems
- Strong project management and negotiation skills
- Experience managing RFx processes
- Ability to handle multiple priorities under pressure
- Relationship management skills to gain stakeholder buy-in
