Bookkeeper Position
Robert Half Contract Finance and Accounting is seeking a bookkeeper to join for our client here in Reno. This contract-to-permanent position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, supporting a family-owned homebuilder. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a customer-focused approach, and the ability to handle multiple tasks with precision.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including tracking financial transactions and maintaining accurate records.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
- Perform bank reconciliations to verify account balances and resolve discrepancies.
- Utilize QuickBooks and other relevant software for financial reporting and data entry.
- Provide receptionist duties, including answering calls and assisting customers with inquiries.
- Handle clerical duties such as typing and document preparation with attention to detail.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and familiarity with accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Strong understanding of bank reconciliations and financial accuracy.
- Experience in the construction industry or similar environment is a plus.
- Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
