Responsibilities You Will Have
- Monitor accounts, deposits, and credit transactions; ensure sufficient funds for payroll and payables; transfer funds and recommend investment options.
- Perform audit responsibilities including preparation and work papers; monitor fixed asset account procedures.
- Assist with payroll processing including review and approval; perform back-up responsibilities; prepare journal entries; assist with W-2s.
- Maintain the General Ledger including review and reconciliation of various accounts: create journal entries to maintain and update General Ledger.
- Prepare annual reports, including TIF, Treasurers Report, and grant reports.
- Serve as a financial resource for staff and external inquiries; support projects and reporting needs.
- Extract financial data and prepare reports for departments and agencies.
- Assist with special projects as assigned by the Finance Director.

Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Government accounting experience preferred; CPA a plus.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
