The HR Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a strategic advisor and consultant to designated departments within the credit union. This role is responsible for aligning business objectives with people strategies, fostering a positive workplace culture, and driving organizational effectiveness. The HRBP will collaborate with leadership to implement HR initiatives that support employee engagement, performance, and development.
Strategic Partnership

  • Align HR strategies with business goals to support departmental success.
  • Build strong relationships with leaders to understand operational needs and workforce planning.
  • Provide guidance on organizational design, change management, and succession planning.
Employee Relations & Culture
  • Act as a trusted resource for employees and managers on HR-related matters.
  • Address employee concerns, grievances, and conflicts with fairness and consistency.
  • Champion a respectful, inclusive, and values-driven workplace culture.
Talent Management & Development
  • Support performance management processes, including coaching, feedback, and reviews.
  • Facilitate career development and training initiatives for Management .
  • Partner with managers to identify high-potential talent and create growth pathways.
HR Operations & Compliance
  • Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes, including exit interviews and trend analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, policies, and procedures.
  • Respond to unemployment claims and manage sensitive employee issues.
Recruitment Support - Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to attract and retain top talent.
Education : Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.
Experience : 8+ years in HR, with at least 3 years in a strategic HRBP or senior HR leadership role.
