HR Generalist

Alpharetta, GA . The position is full-time. You'll join an awesome team to support our growing customer base.
About the Role
We are currently seeking an HR Generalist to join our team, supporting our North American (US and Canada) HR Business Partners and HR Leadership team. This role is a combination of strategic business partnering and operational initiatives, so you need to be able to do both well. You'll need to be agile and quick to adapt to change, as acquisitions are a key aspect of our growth strategy. You'll work with team members in the U.S. and Canada and be part of a large global HR team committed to providing a consistent employee experience across the many countries we do business in.
Key Responsibilities Provide operational and administrative support to our team in the US and Canada on broad range of tasks throughout the lifecycle of an employee (onboarding, promotion, performance management, employee engagement, merit, work visas, investigations, termination) as well as acquisition support. Handle employee inquiries by educating and recommending solutions or escalating appropriately. Ensure the accuracy and compliance of all HR employee data and make sure we have up-to-date documentation for all our employees. Review policies to ensure we are in compliance with required employment legislation in the regions/countries you support. Make recommendations/updates as required. Participate in notification meeting with leaders, conduct exit interviews and complete exit paperwork. Support onboarding new hires, facilitate corporate onboarding sessions and continually seek out ways to enhance a positive and consistent onboarding experience. Liaise with Payroll on compensation changes following set procedures and through data entry. Actively contribute to projects and initiatives to continuously improve the efficiency and capacity of the HR team in North America. About You

To be ahead of the pack, you might have:
Post-secondary education with certification in Human Resources 3+ years' experience in a similar role. Preference will be given to those candidates who have both US and Canadian HR experience. Any global experience is an asset. General knowledge of all areas of Human Resources. Previous experience with Oracle HCM is preferred Experience within the software industry or in a private equity-backed company is preferred Has a proven track record of driving initiatives with little supervision. A critical eye with exceptional attention to detail. Ability to handle employee relations in a professional, tactful, and confidential manner. Must be innately collaborative and deadline driven, even while under pressure in a fast-paced, change infused environment. Enthusiasm for the potential of AI and a proactive approach to integrating AI tools into everyday work Highly proficient in Excel, Powerpoint and Word mail merges. Sharepoint experience is preferred
