Supervisory Realty Specialist
This is a Supervisory Realty Specialist, GS-1170-13 position with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Northwestern Division (NWD), Omaha District, Real Estate Division. This position serves as Section Chief responsible for the overall planning, directing, coordinating, training, reviewing, scheduling, budgeting, and supervising the management and disposal, acquisition and leasing activities of their assigned branch. Responsibilities include: Planning, directing, coordinating, training, reviewing, scheduling, budgeting, and supervising the management and disposal, acquisition and leasing activities of their assigned branch. Being responsible and accountable for all real estate portfolio management and disposal, acquisition and leasing functions. Serving as a key member of the Real Estate Division budgeting team, providing past and projected workload for budget and execution planning and developing P2 worksheets for all programmatic functions. Providing policy and regulatory guidance of real estate activities concerning all types of outgrants, in leases, acquisitions and all other inquiries concerning such matters. Representing the agency in discussions, deliberations, negotiations, and completion of highly complex actions and/or sensitive situations involving the management and disposal, acquisitions and leasing of interests in real property. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship. One year trial/probationary period may be required. Direct deposit of pay is required.
