Our client, a leading organization in the retail technology space, is seeking a Senior Power BI Developer to join their team. As a Senior Power BI Developer, you will be part of a team supporting enterprise-level analytics and reporting initiatives. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong collaboration abilities, and a keen eye for data visualization and insights, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location:
Charlotte, NC (3-4x per week in office)
What's the Job?
Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to support visibility into key sales and inventory metrics
Design and apply data models, source connections, and role-level security in Power Platform
Work with Azure Data Lake and Unity Catalog tables via Databricks to ingest and transform data
Apply DAX and Power Query to support robust, scalable analytics
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver actionable insights
What's Needed?
Advanced Power BI expertise, including data source creation and role-level security
Strong DAX skills and ability to build compelling visualizations
Hands-on experience with Databricks and working within Azure environments
Knowledge of APIs (REST), PySpark, ADF, and cloud data engineering principles
Proficiency in SQL, scripting languages (Python, Shell, R), and familiarity with tools such as Synapse, Azure SQL, and Cosmos DB
