Ashtabula Regional Medical Center (ARMC) , located in the vibrant community of Ashtabula, Ohio, is seeking a dedicated Hematology/Oncology Physician to join our dynamic multispecialty group practice. ARMC, an affiliate of the Cleveland Clinic, offers a collaborative environment with over 60 employed providers, including 21 primary care professionals. This is a fantastic opportunity for those looking to make a significant impact in a community-focused healthcare setting. Job Responsibilities:
* Manage a patient load of 15-20 patients per day in an outpatient setting, and 3-5 patients in the hospital. * Maintain a full-time negotiable schedule. * Provide on-call coverage for 10 days per month, including some weekends. * Serve a diverse patient population, including 50% adults and 50% geriatric patients. * Focus on 25% Hematology and 75% Oncology. * Work collaboratively with 2 other physicians in practice. * Utilize the EPIC EMR for patient records. * Potential for candidates to live within a 40-mile radius or be willing to relocate. * Open to H-1B and J-1 visa candidates.
Qualifications:
* Board Certified/Board Eligible in Hematology (Required). * Board Certified/Board Eligible in Oncology (Required). * Current Ohio medical license or willingness to obtain (Required). * BLS and ACLS certifications by start date (Required). * DEA license obtained prior to start (Required). * Experience in management of VAD/CV Catheters, FNA/Biopsy, and Chemotherapy. * Participation in a Tumor Board and related activities. * Must be within a 40-mile radius or willing to relocate.
License and Certification Requirements:
* Board Certification in Hematology and Oncology (Required). * Ohio Medical License (or willing to obtain) (Required). * BLS and ACLS certifications (Required). * DEA certification must be obtained prior to start (Required).
