Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable
HR Administrator
to manage leave administration and ensure compliance with applicable regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of federal and state leave laws and the ability to provide clear, consistent support to employees and managers throughout the leave process.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer and manage various types of employee leaves, including FMLA, parental, disability, and other protected or company-sponsored leaves. Ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state laws, including FMLA, ADA, and internal policies. Serve as a point of contact for employees and managers regarding leave procedures, documentation, and eligibility. Maintain accurate, confidential records of leave requests, approvals, and communications. Coordinate return-to-work plans and ensure all necessary documentation is in place. Provide guidance to employees and managers on leave-related questions and escalations. Interpret and apply leave policies, advising stakeholders on policy nuances and regulatory impacts. Collaborate with HR partners, benefits teams, and third-party administrators to streamline leave management processes. Generate reports and analyze trends related to leave activity for internal reporting and compliance reviews. Qualifications: Strong working knowledge of FMLA, ADA, and related federal and state regulations. Experience in leave administration within an HR department or shared services environment. Proficiency in HRIS platforms (e.g., SAP, Workday, or equivalent). Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and professionalism. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex leave-related issues. Familiarity with disability and medical leave processes and documentation requirements. Preferred Qualifications: Experience supporting a multi-state workforce. Exposure to ADA accommodations and interactive process facilitation.
