Marine Electrician
We are seeking a skilled Marine Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will have expertise in electrical systems within the marine industry and will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of shipboard electrical equipment. Responsibilities
Use a tape measure to lay out material accurately. Fit-up and rig material according to specifications. Operate handpower tools efficiently and safely. Implement Lock-Out/Tag-Out procedures. Apply knowledge of USN Standard Items in daily tasks. Bend pipe using a mandrel pipe bender as required. Follow material procedures accurately. Operate, adjust, and maintain electrical test equipment. Adjust and maintain shipboard electrical equipment. Familiarize with and apply marine electrical industry standards. Identify and mitigate electrical hazards. Energize and de-energize electrical equipment safely. Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical equipment issues. Solder electrical equipment components. Run and properly terminate electrical wiring. Draft and submit detailed service reports. Read and interpret electrical schematics. Safely operate low, medium, and high voltage equipment. Essential Skills
Ability to read electrical blueprints. Capability to pull cables effectively. Willingness to work on knees for 6-8 hours a day. Additional Skills & Qualifications

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
