Working Superintendent
The working superintendent oversees all on-site activities for multi-home residential construction projects. This role ensures that homes are built safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Superintendent coordinates subcontractors, manages site logistics, and serves as the primary field representative of the builder. They will be asked to perform tasks within the finish carpentry scope and operate equipment to load and unload building materials. Responsibilities
Oversee daily construction operations across multiple home sites. Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and inspections to maintain project timelines. Monitor job site safety and enforce compliance with OSHA and company policies. Ensure quality control and adherence to architectural plans and specifications. Maintain accurate documentation including daily logs, progress reports, and punch lists. Communicate effectively with project managers, homeowners, inspectors, and vendors. Resolve field issues promptly to avoid delays or cost overruns. Conduct regular site walkthroughs and foreman meetings. Manage permit and inspection processes and ensure code compliance. Operate boom forklift. Assist in carpentry scope work when needed. Essential Skills
5+ years of experience in residential construction, preferably in multi-home or multi-family developments. Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and building codes. Proven leadership and team coordination skills. Proficiency in construction management software and digital reporting tools. OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to ensure site safety and knowledge of best practices according to OSHA. Experience with crew management and subcontractor management in new home construction. Ability to perform carpentry tasks while on the work site. Why Work Here?

The standard shift is Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with overtime during the week and occasionally on Saturdays. Candidates should be open to working overtime. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $36.06 - $48.08/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
