The posted compensation range of $24.00 - $26.22 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law. The Aide Orderly (Certified Nurse Assistant CNA) performs basic patient care observations and diagnostic services for the unit specific patient population within the guidelines of hospital policies and procedures under the direct supervision of their Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) Registered Nurse (RN) and/or Nurse Management Member. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Community Hospital of San Bernardino. It is expected that the employee will demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values. The employee shall support Community Hospital of San Bernardino strategic plan and the goals and direction of the quality improvement process and activities. Communicates, records, and reports promptly to the licensed nursing personnel vitals, treatment results, changes in patients condition, observations, patient complaints, and other pertinent information regarding the patient. Checks and repositions all immobile and incontinent residents at a minimum of every two hours providing needed incontinent care promptly as required by assigned unit. Promptly answers call lights and responds to alarms and patients requests. Follow-up on patient care responsibilities and assignments left from previous shift and reports to team leader any incomplete assignments to ensure continuity of care. Performs direct patient care activities for specific patient population according to established policies and procedures; adapts techniques to unique needs of each patient. Accurately places electrodes and activates telemetry monitoring, as assigned. Respond to request for telemetry/lead troubleshooting whether that of assigned patient or not.
