The Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR) is the agency charged with licensing and regulating State of Florida businesses and professionals, such as cosmetologists, veterinarians, condominiums, hotels, and restaurants. Our mission is to license efficiently and regulate fairly, and we strive to meet this goal in our day-to-day operations. This position is located within the Bureau of Compliance of the Division of Condominiums, Timeshares and Mobile Homes. This position performs quality assurance reviews for the bureau to ensure proper procedures are being followed. Your specific responsibilities include: Collects and analyzes various data sources to identify opportunities for improvement, monitor performance, and interpret data trends. Administers the Divisions Qlik reports and ensures accuracy of reporting. Performs random reviews of Versa Regulation and OnBase to ensure filings and cases are appropriately coded. Administers the Annual Report query and other recurring reports. Responds to data requests and provides timely and precise updates and responses. Stays abreast of industry trends and participates in training programs. Provides suggestions for improvement of the application, process, or procedures. Knowledge, skills, and abilities required include: Knowledge of Microsoft Office software. Ability to use technology to perform duties. Operational knowledge of data analysis, data visualization, and data processing techniques. Experience with Microsoft SQL server, Microsoft Access, and Microsoft Excel. Ability to understand complex business and organizational relationships. Skills to manage multiple assignments simultaneously. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. Ability to work both independently and within a team environment. Skilled with attention to detail and critical thinking. Skilled with strong oral and written communication. Skilled with customer service etiquette. Minimum requirement: Two years of data analytics or related IT experience. Preferred: Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university; OR Associates Degree from an accredited college or university and two years of investigative or high level administrative/clerical experience; OR High School Diploma.
