In this role, you will lead the contract lifecycle management process for our Health & Wellness programs, ensuring compliance, operational excellence, and alignment with Walmart's mission to deliver innovative, scalable healthcare solutions. Your work will directly support our goal of providing accessible, high-quality care to communities nationwide. What you'll do... Lead the end-to-end contract lifecycle from drafting and redlining to execution and renewal. Draft, review, and incorporate stakeholder input to ensure accuracy, clarity, and compliance. Maintain organized contract files, histories, and tracking systems for efficient retrieval and audit readiness. Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Finance, Procurement, and Operations to ensure contract terms align with business and regulatory needs. Oversee contract compliance and reporting, proactively addressing issues. Support process improvement initiatives to streamline contracting workflows. Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, enhancing skills in contract administration and compliance. About the Team: Our Payer & Healthcare Contracting team operates at the intersection of business strategy, process management, and legal compliance. We manage essential agreements that enable Walmart's Health & Wellness initiatives, ensuring every contract supports company objectives, meets regulatory requirements, and drives operational efficiency. We are committed to integrity, process excellence, and continuous improvement. What you'll bring: Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field; Paralegal or Juris Doctor degree preferred. 7+ years of experience in healthcare contracting, payer/provider agreements, or PBM operations. Proficiency in contract redlining and technical writing, with strong attention to detail. Supervisory or leadership experience, ideally in healthcare insurance or payer contracting. Strong organizational skills, critical thinking, and clear, concise communication. Knowledge of federal and state healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA, CMS requirements). Project Management Professional (PMP) or Six Sigma certification preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced, matrixed environment with shifting priorities. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Economics, or related field and 4 years' experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, contract management, or related area OR 6 years' experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, contract management, or related area. 4 years' supervisory experience.
