Location: South Austin, TX Type: Contract to Hire Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM

5 PM (with potential overtime or Saturday work) About the Role

We're looking for a hands-on Assembly Technician who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys both assembly and disassembly work. This role involves frequent mechanical disassembly, pipe fitting, and heavy-duty tasks in both climate-controlled and non-climate-controlled areas. What You'll Do

Perform mechanical assembly and disassembly of industrial components, including frequent work with pipe fittings. Engage in fabrication, painting, and manual cleaning of parts. Operate and maintain tools and equipment, including basic preventative maintenance. Document work clearly during development builds and production runs. Support shop organization, cleanliness, and safety protocols. What You'll Need

2+ years of experience with heavy mechanical assemblies. Comfort with dirty work and non-climate-controlled environments (especially during warmer months). Strong proficiency with hand and power tools. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions. Basic computer literacy and documentation skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on elevated platforms. Preferred Skills

Experience with hydraulics or hydraulic assembly. Electrical wiring installation. Troubleshooting and operating manufacturing equipment. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Why You'll Love It Here
