Compensation Analyst

Position Summary: The Compensation Analyst is responsible for analyzing and administering compensation programs across HBG. The role has responsibility for salary guideline administration, salary benchmarking, and job description development. This role will assist HRBPs and TMX Managers with Compensation Program interpretation and administration. Duties/Responsibilities: Support the HBG Field locations with Compensation Guideline Administration. Coordinate with the Compensation Manager to analyze and evaluate compensation data aligned with HBG Compensation Strategy. Support compensation request & review processes with data preparation, analysis, and review. Provide input or draft job descriptions or job questionnaires for job architecture alignment and market comparison. Assist in the data collection for annual salary structure & utilize market tools, as needed. Research & document situations and provide recommendations to align compensation strategy and historical practices for base and variable pay plans. Maintain and deploy compensation structures, procedures, and guidelines, for field direction and guidance. Use HCM system (Workday) for pay plan execution and delivery. Monitor compliance with federal and state regulations related to position structure and design. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Human Resources, Business or Finance. 0-2 years of experience in Human Resources, (Compensation or Employee Relations preferred). Analytical interest, preferred to have HCM (Workday) and reporting experience. Ability to multi-task and prioritize. Strong interpersonal skills: ability to establish positive relationships with internal customers. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience conducting research and analyzing data. Intermediate skills with MS Excel. Self-directed with ability to work autonomously on projects. Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information Physical Demands: Must be able to consistently operate a computer and other office productivity machinery such as telephone, calculator, copy machine, computer printer, etc. Must be able to communicate with others via phone, email, and in person. Must be able to exchange accurate information with others. Constantly works in an indoor, temperature-controlled, sealed-window office environment. Work primarily involves sitting / standing.
