Advocate for the end customer by upholding the highest quality, world-class expectations on their behalf at your respective gateway. Serve as an expert in identifying quality issues, facilitating the root cause process, and taking the lead in galvanizing the resources needed to correct the quality issues before allowing the home to pass through their gateway. Duties / Responsibilities

Inspect the home through the lens of the end customer. Read and understand both the order and the prints for the day's run, in preparation for homes coming through the gateway that day. Rectify any discrepancies with engineering and the Area Manager immediately. Inspect homes using the checklist provided, DAPIA, and general knowledge and experience. Immediately stop homes that do not meet the required quality standards. Work with the Area Manager(s) in your gateway to determine the root cause of issues by providing paperwork and tracking the completion of that paperwork within 24 hours for all repeat issues. Keep a floor-by-floor record of audit results for the Area Manager EVAL (supporting documentation). Tabulate daily results and provide information to TMX team. Track finding data and chart for display on communication centers / morning huddle discussions. Track shortages on the shortage sheets

relay this information directly to the QA Manager. Apply the final HUD label to every home. Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Required

DAPIA expert in assigned gateway. Ability to read and understand both orders and prints. Courage to stop the production line. Leadership ability to pull resources together to solve a common problem. Communicating clearly and constructively at all levels of the organization. Education and Qualifications

3 + years of experience in manufactured housing in relevant gateway departments preferred. 1 + years of experience in a QA/QC role preferred. Why Clayton?
