As a Steward Supervisor, you will oversee operational functions within the department, ensuring efficiency and cleanliness while leading a dedicated team. Your role will involve creating exceptional guest experiences through outstanding service that leaves a lasting impression. Supervise operational functions within the department to align with the strategic plan, fiscal budget, and the company's profitability objectives. Oversee assigned staff, including hiring recommendations that reflect the company's diversity commitment, training, coaching, performance feedback, administering discipline, and scheduling. Provide recommendations for new products, services, technology, and processes to enhance operations. Conduct routine inspections of all equipment and kitchen areas to ensure cleanliness and compliance with sanitary procedures, as well as ensure that all equipment is in proper working order. Assist in inventory management and record-keeping for dinnerware, flatware, and glassware, and handle the ordering of china, glass, and silver. Also, monitor temperature and chemical solution requirements for dishwashing and pot washing while requisitioning new and replacement equipment as needed. Must possess 2+ years of relevant experience within the hotel or casino industry. Availability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, is required. A High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent is preferred. Prior management or supervisory experience is a plus.
