Information Technology oversees the effective development, delivery, and operation of computing and information services. This function anticipates, plans, and delivers Information Technology solutions and strategies that enable operations and drive business value. Application Development & Maintenance performs configuration or coding to develop, enhance and sustain the organization's software systems in a cross-functional team environment through adherence to established design control processes and good engineering practices. This job family programs and configures end user applications, systems, databases and websites to achieve the organization's internal needs and externally facing business needs. Application Development & Maintenance partners with business leaders, investigates user needs and conducts regular assessments, maintenance and enhancements of existing applications. Cardinal Health is seeking an experienced Director, Supply Chain IT to lead the strategic implementation and rollout of the Manhattan Active platform across our Pharmaceutical and Specialty Solutions (PSS) network. This experienced leader will drive warehouse management system (WMS) transformation initiatives while ensuring seamless integration with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) automation solutions to optimize our Supply Chain Operations. Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership Lead enterprise-wide implementation of Manhattan Active WMS/TMS platform across Cardinal Health's pharmaceutical distribution centers Develop and execute comprehensive technology roadmap for supply chain digitization and automation Partner with C-suite executives and business stakeholders to align IT strategy with operational objectives Drive change management initiatives to ensure successful platform adoption across all facilities Develops and implements policies and procedures to achieve organizational goals Assists in the development of functional strategy Decisions have an extended impact on work processes, outcomes, and customers Platform Implementation & Integration Oversee end-to-end Manhattan Active platform and MHE deployment including blueprinting, configuration, testing, and go-live activities Ensure seamless integration between Manhattan Active and MHE automation systems Manage complex integrations with Cardinal Health's ERP (SAP) systems, Inventory Management platforms, custom applications, and mobile devices Coordinate with vendor and system integrator partners to execute projects and optimize platform capabilities Operational Excellence Design and implement supply chain IT architecture that supports pharmaceutical distribution requirements including serialization, cold chain, and regulatory compliance Establish performance metrics and KPIs to measure platform effectiveness and ROI Develop disaster recovery and business continuity plans for critical supply chain systems Ensure platform scalability to support Cardinal Health's growth and expansion plans Manages an organizational budget Team Leadership & Development Build and lead high-performing team of IT professionals, solution architects, and project managers Foster culture of innovation and continuous improvement within supply chain IT organization Provide mentorship and career development opportunities for team members Collaborate with HR on talent acquisition strategy for specialized supply chain technology roles Qualifications

15+ years of progressive IT leadership experience with focus on supply chain technologies, preferred 5+ years of hands-on experience with WMS, TMS, Labor Management, preferred Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience, preferred; MBA or advanced degree in Supply Chain Management Information Systems or related field a plus Proven track record of leading large-scale enterprise software implementations across multiple sites Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare or highly regulated distribution environments Strong background in MHE automation integration and warehouse control systems Deep understanding of Manhattan WMS architecture, APIs and integration capabilities Experience with warehouse automation technologies / MHE such as good-to-person, conveyors, sorters, robotics and voice/RF systems Proficiency in cloud platforms (preferably GCP), microservices architecture and modern integration patterns Strong understanding of data analytics and business intelligence tools for supply chain optimization Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex, multi-year technology initiatives Experience leading resources/employees in a Global Capability Center (GCC) Strong vendor management and contract negotiation experience Excellent communication skills with ability to present to executive audiences Experience managing IT budgets of $20M+ annually PMP, Lean Six Sigma or similar process improvement certifications Experience with pharmaceutical regulations (FDA, DEA) Knowledge of pharmaceutical supply chain requirements including track & trace, serialization and temperature management What is expected of you and others at this level
