The Project Manager (PT) supports Sales, Operations, and Delivery teams in the comprehensive planning and execution of event meeting rooms. This role ensures successful, on-time, and on-budget delivery that meets client expectations and aligns with Freeman standards. The Project Manager also oversees labor crews and coordinates the logistics of equipment delivery, setup, and dismantle at the show site. This role will help cover special events for intermittent periods of time with scheduled hours fluctuating weekly. This position will support our Audio Visual and Event Technology team. The position follows an in-person schedule working full-time in-office and/or show-site based out of Washington D.C. Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Demonstrates proficient knowledge of audio, video, lighting, and multimedia equipment used in producing association and corporate events, including basic electrical and rigging requirements. Collaborates with Implementation or Event Project Management teams to coordinate budget and client information for onsite delivery. Ensures compliance with Freeman and venue safety guidelines throughout show site operations. Participates in planning meetings, hand-off calls, and pre-con meetings as needed. Works with pre-production project management and Inventory Control to ensure complete and accurate equipment coverage. Manages onsite equipment logistics, including load-in, setup, operation, strike, and load-out of AV equipment. Maintains accurate equipment counts and oversees proper placement and tracking. Coordinates with Labor Scheduling and pre-production teams to ensure appropriate labor coverage. Supervises onsite labor crews to ensure timely and cost-effective event execution. Maintains accurate show site documentation, including Event Flows, Production Workbooks, and Daily Labor Safety Sign-In Sheets. Serves as the client liaison for the area being managed. Performs other duties as assigned. Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree preferred, High School Diploma or Equivalent with relevant work experience required. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical documents, operation and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals or governmental regulations. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. The capability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Must have a general knowledge of the convention, tradeshow and hotel industry. Must maintain a valid state drivers license. CTS certificate preferred. Travel Requirements
