Indy Parenteral Manufacturing (IPM) is one of the key organizations in Lilly's internal Global Parenteral Product Manufacturing network, responsible for the production of semi-finished commercial and clinical parenteral drug product materials within Lilly's global drug product manufacturing pipeline. IPM also manages the commercialization activities linking Lilly's PR&D activities to the commercial manufacturing activities, in preparation for new parenteral product launches. Site Procurement Team
The Site Procurement team provides both strategic and tactical sourcing support for direct production material sourcing needs from IPM's third party Excipient supplier network, which are required to support the manufacturing operations for IPM. Responsibilities
Excipient Site-Level Category Management Establish and drive IPM's site-level procurement strategy for Excipient sourcing needs. Routinely conduct benchmarking analysis to evaluate the market landscape for all areas of IPM's site-specific spend and propose opportunities for driving value to both IPM Site stakeholders and Global Procurement for consideration, based on strong business cases. Support the formation of new third-party business relationships and new supply lines based on strong business cases. Communicate project proposal details with positive impact and gain approval on new initiatives. Primary Support for Excipient Buying, and Backup Support for Consumable Buying Manage IPM's Material Requirement Planning (MRP) responsibilities for Excipient purchasing, including: Timely and accurate execution of Action and Exception Messages On-time release of Purchase Orders Monitoring of the purchasing process through onsite release of materials for production Proactive management of supplier delivery performance and maintenance of valid due dates for open purchase orders and inspections lots. Publication and Maintenance of accurate Dispatch List. Proactivity anticipate and identify issues within the IPM's external supply chains, and self-motivation to develop, implement, and drive solutions to completion. Basic Requirements
Bachelor's degree, preferably in supply chain management or related 3-5 years minimum of material planning experience, preferably within pharmaceutical GMP operations. Qualified applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Lilly will not provide support for or sponsor work authorization and/or visas for this role. MBA Strong negotiating skills. Ability to work autonomously, influence without authority and be self-directed. Strong communication skills demonstrated via presentation and team leadership skills across cross-functional team partnerships. Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt to continual change. APICS CPIM Certification OSSCE Class A Certification knowledge and experience or other Supply Chain certification. Project Management experience. Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt training SAP experience. Additional Information

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate's education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is $57,750 - $129,800.
