Digital Marketing Strategy Leader

Leads the strategy, execution, and optimization of HKS's global digital presence across social media, email marketing, SEO/content, and website performance marketing. Responsible for ensuring that every digital touchpoint delivers measurable impact

building brand visibility, deepening engagement with priority audiences, and driving high-value client opportunities. A digital-first thinker with a strong grasp of analytics, this position will work closely with Marketing leadership to integrate digital efforts into broader campaigns, ABM programs, and business development strategies. Manages the firm's resources (people, processes and tools) and assignments strategically with proficiency, fluency and aptitude. Teaches and mentors staff and effectively embodies and expresses the firm's values and mission. Responsibilities

Owns the firmwide digital marketing strategy across social media, email marketing, SEO/content, and website performance marketing Partners with other COEs and Sector Marketing Directors to ensure digital initiatives align with market priorities, campaigns, and ABM programs Leads the development of digital playbooks, best practices, and KPIs to drive performance and consistency across channels Oversees organic and paid social media strategy to amplify brand, campaigns, and thought leadership Ensures content calendars are aligned to audience needs, market moments, and campaign objectives Directs social listening, community management, and engagement tactics to build brand loyalty and relationships Leads the design and execution of segmented, personalized email programs, including nurture sequences, newsletters, and event communications Oversees marketing automation workflows, lead scoring, and triggered campaigns to increase engagement and conversion Drives continuous testing and optimization for open rates, click-through rates, and conversion metrics Directs the firm's organic search strategy, ensuring web content is discoverable, relevant, and authoritative Partners with Brand and Campaigns COEs to align content with keyword strategy, market demand, and client needs Ensures all content is optimized for both search performance and user experience Leads efforts to improve website UX, speed, accessibility, and conversion rates Oversees analytics, heatmapping, and user behavior tracking to inform data-driven improvements Partners with Creative and IT teams to implement landing pages, A/B testing, and CRO strategies Defines channel-level KPIs and dashboards to track digital performance and ROI Leverages analytics to continuously improve targeting, creative, and conversion strategies Reports insights and recommendations to the VP, Demand Generation & ABM and the Marketing Leadership Team Fosters a culture of curiosity, agility, and data-driven decision-making Builds strong cross-functional relationships with other COEs, Sectors, and Practices to ensure digital's role in achieving growth objectives Responsible for staying ahead of digital marketing trends, emerging technologies, and platform innovations Travel may be required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related degree Typically with 15+ years of experience in digital marketing, with 10+ years of strategic marketing experience Experience in InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator graphic software preferred Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint preferred Prior experience in architecture/interior design, including knowledge of global trends shaping the industry and client's industries, preferred Proven experience to design and execute integrated digital marketing strategies that align with business goals Proven ability to work across stakeholder groups, functional areas, geographies, and differing levels of seniority Successful track record with managing a team and performing duties in a fast-paced environment Experience in logistics management including connecting people and resources to the right place at the right time Experience setting measurable objectives, defining KPIs, and tracking ROI across multiple digital channels Experience with marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, web analytics tools, and social listening platforms Experience in B2B marketing, preferably within professional services, architecture, design, or related industries Excellent understanding of best practices in social media (organic and paid), email marketing, SEO, content strategy, and website performance marketing Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and optimizations Excellent attention to detail and commitment to excellence Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with all levels of staff and customers; ability to forge trusting relationships within a diverse team Strong understanding of user experience (UX), conversion rate optimization (CRO), and accessibility standards Strong understanding of long sales cycles, high-value relationship-driven business models, and account-based marketing principles Strong presentation skills Strong organizational skills and the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities, markets, and technologies while maintaining strategic focus Ability to confidently communicate with a wide variety of internal and external constituents Ability to proactively problem solve and apply innovative solutions Ability to work and collaborate in a team environment, and ability to work independently and prioritize work Ability to effectively meet deadlines at expected quality
