American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and California NMT certification for a contract day shift position.
Responsibilities Position based in a hospital radiology department on the Nuclear Medicine teamDay shifts scheduled Wednesdays through Fridays from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (3x8 hours)No floating, on-call, or weekend shifts required under normal censusPatients include those scheduled for nuclear medicine imaging proceduresCandidates may float to other locations if census is low on the home unitUtilizes imaging equipment for radiopharmaceutical administration and scanningEpic charting experience is preferredPrepare and administer radiopharmaceutical dosages, and perform nuclear imaging proceduresResponsible for maintaining imaging equipment and ensuring safe operationProvide patient education on procedures and address any concernsComplete required onboarding modules during orientation, with time required varying by specialtyOnly one holiday RTO will be approved during the contractLocals are accepted at a local rate
