Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, BLS and ARRT or NMTCB certification, and a California state license if applicable.
Responsibilities Work in an acute care hospital setting on the Nuclear Medicine unitDay shifts, 4x10 hours from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PMFloat required between outpatient center and hospital and may float between all facilities within the statePatient population includes adult and geriatric cases typical for nuclear medicineUses Mediteach charting system; experience with Epic preferredMust be able to commit to working at least 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day)First-time travelers will be consideredOccasional floating within scope to similar units or locations is expectedThere is no on-call requirementMust note all requested time off (RTO) at time of applicationAny color scrubs are acceptedFree parking is available on siteFormer staff must have a 3-month separation and not reside within 50 miles to be eligible as a travelerPre-assignment online modules required and completed prior to start
