Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist with Epic charting experience and ARRT-MR certification for a day shift contract in a Level II trauma setting.

Responsibilities Work in a Level II trauma center with adult acute care, ICU, ER, and trauma patientsMRI department performs a high volume of exams, including specialized cardiac and breast MRI during day shiftsDaily caseload ranges from 30 to 40 exams per technologistSupports a diverse patient population from ambulatory to total assist needsSchedule is four 10-hour day shifts (7:00 AM to 5:00 PM), with weekend shifts requiredNo mandatory call; agency staff may take call if desiredNo floating between like units required, but floating to other facilities within the state may be expected according to policyUses Epic EMR; Epic experience is requiredPerform routine and specialized MRI scans including cardiac and breast MRIAdhere to scrub dress code; any color except reddish orange is permittedMust commit to working at least 3 of the 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day)Return staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a travelerFree staff parking availableOrientation modules must be completed prior to start and may require up to 16 hours of self-reported timeAll travelers may be expected to float within their skill set to other facilities in the statePreference given to candidates with experience handling neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, and adult patients
