What you will do: Prepare robotic vehicles for customer delivery, including calibration, factory acceptance testing, and safety checks. Troubleshoot and repair electro-mechanical issues to maintain optimal system performance. Commission and validate systems on-site, including wireless communication surveys, safety assessments, and software interface testing. Create clear technical documentation and deliver hands-on operator training to customers. Lead or assist with customer acceptance testing during pre-delivery and on-site installation phases. Support virtual testing and commissioning activities. Track system performance and uptime, analyzing issues for long-term improvements. For Level I: Provide support to more senior Field Engineers (II-IV) on projects and service calls. Who you are: A hands-on problem solver who thrives in technical, fast-paced environments. Able to explain complex technical information clearly to customers and teammates. Detail-oriented, with a strong focus on safety and precision. Adaptable and calm under pressure, even when troubleshooting on-site. Collaborative and eager to learn from and support others. What you will need: Level I: Bachelor's degree in Engineering Associate's degree with 1 year of relevant experience 7 years of industry experience in lieu of a degree Level II: Bachelor's degree in Engineeringwith 2 years of relevant experience 7 years of industry experience in lieu of a degree Level III: Bachelor's degree in Engineeringwith 3 years of relevant experience Skills, Experience, & Abilities Troubleshooting: Experience with electro-mechanical systems Ability to read and understand electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, 3D models, and mechanical assembly drawings Familiarity with wireless communication systems Technical: Proficiency with Windows operating systems Experience in device programming Understanding of networking concepts, hardware, and software Knowledge of wireless technologies Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English Ability to remain professional and composed in challenging situations Experience interacting directly with customers in technical environments Who we are: Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, Inc., designs, engineers, manufactures, sells and services a comprehensive line of lift trucks, aftermarket parts and technology and energy solutions that are transforming the way the world moves materials from Port to Home.
