Arranges and inventories sterile set-up for operations, and hands items as needed to the operative team. Assists in preparing and moving patients, and in cleaning the operating rooms. The Surgical Technician is responsible for the provision of surgical care to meet identified patient outcomes, and to achieve the goals of the facility as directed by the Registered Nurse.RequirementsPost High School Diploma ProgramGraduate of a Surgical Tech program- required.Certification and LicensureBLSIDEAL CANDIDATEIdeal candidate would be an experienced Surgical Tech. We are open to Surg Techs who have experience in any specialty (we are seeking an experienced cardiac Surg Tech in addition to Surg Techs experienced in any other specialty). Must have at least 1 full year of Surgical Tech experience to be considered.
