Travel **Job Title: Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN)**
**Job Summary:** Join a dynamic team in a fast-paced Adult Emergency Department (ED) at one of the busiest trauma centers in the country. We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to manage a diverse patient population in a state-of-the-art facility that handles over 100,000 visits per year. The ED is recognized as a Level I trauma hospital, providing exceptional emergency care to those in need.
**Key Responsibilities:** - Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department. - Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients with varying degrees of emergencies. - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate optimal patient outcomes and support boarder patients. - Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and guidelines while maintaining patient safety and comfort. - Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and treatment plans.
**Qualifications:** - Valid Registered Nurse License in New York (NY). - Minimum of two (2) years of experience in an Emergency Department setting. - Telemetry experience is required. - Previous travel experience in an Emergency Room is mandatory. - Current certifications: BLS (American Heart Association) and ACLS (American Heart Association). NIHSS certification is preferred.
