Role Overview:

As a Physical Therapist, you will implement tailored physical therapy programs that include comprehensive assessment, treatment planning, and effective patient education, all aimed at helping patients reach their functional goals. You will play a crucial role in fostering a collaborative environment with your fellow health professionals and support staff. Qualifications: Demonstrated knowledge and skills to meet the physical and developmental needs of the patient population. Composure in crisis or emergency situations. Graduate from an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) accredited program. Minimum of one year of experience as a physical therapy aide. Current license from the state Board of Physical Therapy Examiners. Key Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care while assessing functional needs and consulting with specialists. Review and adapt care plans based on patient evaluations to ensure optimum outcomes. Design personalized care plans, involving significant others as necessary. Conduct therapies within established standards and direct support staff toward achieving patient goals. Maintain effective communication with colleagues to promote positive patient outcomes. Adhere to hospital and departmental policies, quality improvement initiatives, and safety standards. Comply with care regulations, resident rights, and confidentiality standards (HIPAA).
