Rotating nights, 7:00pm - 7:30am; every other weekend/holiday; unpaid lunch Estimated Weekly Pay:
$2210-$2370 per week ER RN Qualifications & Requirements
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts Minimum 1 year of recent emergency room (ER) travel nursing experience required Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications Successful completion of pharmacology and basic arrhythmia exams Proficient in IV administration, IV starts, ventilator care, and telemetry monitoring Strong communication skills in English (reading, writing, speaking) Completion of an approved de-escalation certification course preferred TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course), ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course), and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications preferred Emergency Room Nurse Responsibilities
Provide high-quality patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in the ER Administer and monitor patient responses to medications and treatments Direct and guide patient care, education, and activities of ancillary healthcare staff Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and clinical documentation Conduct comprehensive patient assessments (physical, psychological, and social) Collaborate with allied healthcare professionals to initiate and communicate care plans Serve as charge nurse and resource for ER nursing staff as needed Participate in staff meetings, mandatory training, and ongoing professional development Follow all safety and infection control policies and procedures Represent the hospital professionally within the Hyannis and Cape Cod community Maintain patient confidentiality and deliver service excellence to patients, families, and colleagues Perform additional duties as assigned by nursing supervisor
