About The Position Job Title: RRT Pediatrics Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT Pediatrics Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12 Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years pediatric, neonate, and infant experience License: RRT SC license must be in hand at the time of start Certifications: RRT certification, BLS, PALS, NRP Must-Have: Epic experience preferred Description: Position/Specialty: RRT in Pediatrics Will work 3x12 days from 7 AM to 7:30 PM. Holiday rotation is required. Weekend coverage is required every other weekend. On-call is not required. Clinician may float within scope to meet facility needs based on experience. Years of experience required is 2 years. First-timers are accepted. Preferred certifications include NRP, PALS, and RRT. Skills in bronchoscopy, extubation, NICU, pediatric critical care, and pediatrics are desirable. The type of facility is a teaching hospital with a total of 865 staffed beds. Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, all employees may be assigned to emergency response teams. Approval for any time off must be included at the time of submission. The facility may call off one shift per two weeks. Candidates must provide proof of applied or confirmed applications for licensure. Recruitment is prioritized for candidates with an active state license. Any candidate with 7 or more days of time off or including holidays may require facility approval and can delay the process.
