20 weeks Hours:
40 hours per week Shift:
5x8-hour day shifts (varied start times between 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM, Monday-Friday; some weekend coverage required) Patient Visits:
6-8 home visits per day Estimated Weekly Salary Range:
$1300-$1390 Registered Nurse Qualifications
Active RN license in Florida or compact state (Florida RN jobs) Minimum 1 year of recent home health nursing experience (Medicare/Medicare Advantage/Commercial insurance) Infusion therapy experience required OASIS documentation training and experience required IV skills and wound care proficiency (including wound vac and compression dressings) BCLS certification required Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for home visits COVID-19 vaccination (medical/religious exemptions considered) Flu vaccination or declination with mask requirement Cerner EMR/charting experience preferred Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility (per 100-mile radius rule) Homecare RN Responsibilities
Deliver skilled nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in their homes Perform cardiopulmonary assessments, wound care, IV therapy, and infusion services Manage high-risk diagnoses: heart failure, COPD, MI, pneumonia, stroke Provide post-operative care, including staple/suture removal and drain care Administer SQ/IM injections, lab draws, and PICC/midline care Document all care using BayCare forms and Ace Timesheet documentation system Coordinate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members (PT, pharmacy, social services, interpretation services) Self-schedule visits and hours based on patient and office needs Participate in required orientation and complete annual training modules
