Project Manager (Pre-Clinical Development)
to join our client's team in
Tarrytown, NY.
Our client is a leading Pharma/Biotech firm. This is a long-term contract role offering a hybrid work schedule of 4 days onsite. Responsibilities of the Project Manager Project Manager (Pre-Clinical Development): Act
independently to execute highly complex or specialized IT projects, ensuring they deliver on scope, schedule, cost, and quality. Drive
the discovery phase to gather initial requirements and business goals, establishing a validated business case with stakeholders. Implement
and maintain project plans, budgets, and staffing requirements, providing overall direction to the project team. Manage
and control changes throughout the project lifecycle, while proactively mitigating risks and resolving issues to keep the project on track. Oversee
third-party vendor resources to ensure day-to-day execution aligns with project goals and contractual obligations. Provide
clear and effective project status updates to all stakeholders, anticipating challenges and communicating dependencies, issues, and risks. Collaborate
with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent and collaborative project delivery. Lead
the customization and integration of Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) applications, ensuring tailored solutions meet specific business requirements. Train
individuals and teams on industry-recognized project management standards and methodologies. Complete
lessons-learned sessions after each project to drive continuous service improvement. Qualifications of the Project Manager (Pre-Clinical Development): Bachelor's (BA/BS) Degree in a related field such as Computer Science. Experience working with LIMS, ELN, or AWS Familiar with Bioanalytical Sciences including Assay Development, Bioanalysis, Quality Control and Scientific Writing. Understanding of Pharma-FDA reporting processes and regulatory submission standards (ICH, DIA CTD) PMP certification or equivalent. Experience with agile and/or waterfall-based delivery approaches. Proficiency in project management tools like
Microsoft Project
and experience with
Jira and Atlassian tools . A demonstrated track record of delivering high-quality, successful, and on-budget projects.
