Scientific Business Analyst : Translate business strategies, goals, and objectives into clear, documented requirements for technical teams. Document "as-is" and "to-be" business processes, focusing on the core problems the business aims to solve. Collaborate with research scientists, technical experts, and IT project managers to define system goals and technical requirements. Maintain and prioritize the backlog of requests, managing expectations from business partners. Investigate and address data quality issues at their root cause, partnering with business and IT teams for intelligent solutions. Identify improvement opportunities in business processes to enhance the end-user experience for laboratory personnel. Qualifications of the
Scientific Business Analyst :
Masters degree or Ph.D. in a life science with experience in computer science or information technology. 5-8+ years of hands-on experience in a research, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology environment. MUST have experience LIMS, ELN, or AWS Familiar with Bioanalytical Sciences including Assay Development, Bioanalysis, Quality Control and Scientific Writing. Understanding of Pharma-FDA reporting processes and regulatory submission standards (ICH, DIA CTD) Proficiency in business process analysis and requirements elicitation. Experience with reagent tracking software (like Benchling) or in vitro screening software (like Dotmatics) is highly desirable. Familiarity with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS). Passion for problem-solving. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal). Benefits of the
