As we grow rapidly to meet the complex needs of global enterprises, were seeking a Senior Network Engineer to help build, deploy, and support robust, high-performance infrastructure that handles 1+ billion I/O transactions per day across heterogeneous eco-systems. As a Senior Network Engineer, youll be a key technical expert responsible for architecting, deploying, and maintaining highly available and secure networking solutions for our customers most demanding workloads. This is a hands-on engineering role supporting enterprise-grade hybrid and cloud networks (primarily AWS), integrating security, performance monitoring, and regulatory compliance across the central platform and diverse customer ecosystems. Key Responsibilities Architect scalable, secure, and high-throughput LAN/WAN/SD-WAN environments tailored to client workloads working with team leadership and team members. Design and implement hybrid network models integrating AWS and data center infrastructure. Translate business and compliance requirements into technical network solutions to meet requirements of regulatory authorities. Infrastructure Deployment & Operations: Configure and manage enterprise switches, routers, wireless access points (WAPs), and network segmentation policies. Deploy and optimize routing (BGP, OSPF), VPNs, VLANs, and QoS across distributed, multi-region topologies. Support internal corporate networking needs and experience with heatmap surveys for WAP desirable. Ensure end-to-end uptime and fault tolerance through HA/DR design and failover strategies. Lead deployment of AWS VPCs, Transit Gateways, Direct Connect, and multi-cloud peering solutions. Support secure integration between public cloud workloads and private corporate networks. Security, Compliance & Monitoring: Implement network security policies using industry-standard firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Fortinet). Design networks in alignment with healthcare, financial, and government compliance frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, PII, PCI-DSS, SOX, NIST, ISO 27001). Deploy and maintain monitoring and alerting systems for proactive fault detection and compliance enforcement. Customer & Cross-Functional Engagement: Act as the escalation point for network-related incidents across customer environments. Partner with cybersecurity architects, DevOps, and application teams to align network strategies with end-user and business needs. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to playbooks, SOPs, and client-facing documentation. What You Bring Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related technical field. 8+ years of hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and supporting large-scale enterprise networks. Proven successful operating environments with 1+ billion I/O transactions per day across hybrid cloud/data center architectures. Expertise in core networking technologies: LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, BGP, OSPF, IPsec VPNs, VLANs, NAT, QoS, HA/DR. Strong knowledge of AWS networking, including VPC design, security groups, NACLs, DX, VPN, IGWs, and TGWs. Experience with at least one major enterprise-grade network platform: Cisco, Palo Alto Networks, Extreme Networks, Arista, or Juniper. Deep understanding of firewall policies, segmentation, and intrusion prevention technologies. Familiarity with network observability tools such as SolarWinds, Datadog, PRTG, CloudWatch, Nagio or ThousandEyes. Excellent communication and presentation skills, great attitude for teamwork Bonus Points If You Have Certifications such as: CCNP/CCIE, AWS Advanced Networking, PCNSE, NSE, or equivalent. Experience in industries with strict compliance requirements (e.g., finance, healthcare, retail, government). Background in network automation (e.g., Python, Ansible, Terraform for networking). Exposure to Zero Trust Architecture, SASE, or containerized networks (e.g., Kubernetes, CNI plugins). ITIL/ ITSM Foundation or other service management certifications. Why Dallas? Why In-Person?
