Primary DevOps and Automation Responsibilities
Deploy and maintain high-availability production environments in cloud and on-premise setups
Troubleshoot and optimize internal services and cloud platforms proactively
Drive automation strategies to ensure 99.99% uptime
Provide 24×7 rotational on-call support for incident escalations
Monitor, maintain, and optimize server performance, capacity, and stability
Build automation and self-healing features to reduce operational workload
Collaborate with R&D, SRE, and Cloud Services Teams to design deployment automation for new offerings
Work effectively under pressure in live production environments
Promote a culture of engineering excellence and continuous improvement
Required Skills and Qualifications
Core Technical Skills for SaaS Operations and Cloud Automation
3+ years in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering
Experience in Unix/Linux and Windows
Scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, Bash, or Shell Script
Expertise in Ansible or similar tools like Chef or Puppet
Knowledge of Jenkins and monitoring tools like Elasticsearch or Wavefront
Skilled in configuring and troubleshooting web applications to ensure SLA compliance
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Preferred Skills
Additional Cloud and Database Expertise
Microsoft SQL Server administration experience
AWS, VMware on AWS, vSphere products
Network tools such as BIG-IP, DYN, and Route53
Full-stack experience within a FedRAMP-compliant environment
