client-facing collaboration? This is a unique opportunity for a
Systems Engineer & IT Consultant
to step into a high-impact role where you'll blend technical strategy, client engagement, and hands-on engineering to shape modern IT environments for small and mid-sized businesses. You won’t just be fixing tickets—you’ll be leading the conversation on how technology can drive business performance. What You’ll Do Act as a trusted technical advisor and engineer for multiple client environments Perform hands-on documentation, audits, and assessments of client infrastructure Ensure client systems align with MSP standards and security best practices (CIS, NIST, etc.) Collaborate with client success teams and vCIOs to shape roadmaps and strategic IT planning Configure and optimize technologies including Microsoft 365, Azure, Active Directory, networking, and security tools Translate complex IT into actionable business solutions for clients’ leadership teams Provide technical input across the entire MSP—from service desk to project teams What You Bring 5+ years of experience in systems/network engineering within an MSP or IT consulting firm Strong understanding of Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Azure, firewalls, networking, and identity management Proficiency with technical standards and frameworks (ITSM, ITIL, CIS, NIST) Confidence working directly with client executives and internal stakeholders Exceptional documentation, time management, and communication skills Bonus: Experience with tools like ConnectWise, VoIP, and endpoint security platforms What’s in It for You Competitive Salary
