Job DescriptionJob Description Reporting to the Manager of Grants Management, the FP&A / Grants Supervisor leads a team of Grant Accountants in overseeing the fiscal administration of grants and contracts while driving strategic financial planning and analysis across assigned program areas. This role ensures compliance, enhances financial performance, and serves as a key liaison between finance and program leadership. ️ Key Responsibilities Team Leadership & Oversight • Supervise and mentor Grant Accountants in financial reporting, projections, and compliance • Lead development of dashboards and financial presentations for program directors • Review and approve journal entries, cost allocations, and funder reports • Guide team in preparing budgets for annual refunding and mid-year adjustments • Collaborate with FP&A staff on agency-wide budgeting and forecasting Program Fiscal Management & FP&A Strategy • Act as primary fiscal contact for assigned program area • Ensure compliance with OMB regulations, GAAP, and funder requirements • Oversee grant closeouts and ensure full revenue realization • Support system setup and process improvements for new grants • Provide financial insights and recommendations to optimize program performance FP&A-Focused Requirements To strengthen our financial planning and analysis capabilities, candidates should bring: • Experience in developing and managing rolling forecasts and variance analyses • Ability to synthesize financial data into actionable insights for program leadership • Familiarity with Adaptive Insights or similar FP&A tools • Strategic mindset with a focus on optimizing resource allocation across programs • Proven track record of partnering with cross-functional teams to drive financial performance Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business (CPA or MBA a plus) • 8+ years of accounting experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory role • Strong understanding of GAAP, OMB Circulars, and nonprofit grant compliance • Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and fund accounting systems (Abila/MIP ) • Exceptional communication, analytical, and leadership skills This position is hybrid in Chatsworth, compensation ranged from $95,000-$115,000 plus medical/dental, 401k, PTO and holiday pay.

Pay Details:

$95,000.00 to $115,000.00 per year
