Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Recruiting Manager to spearhead our recruitment initiatives and enhance our strategy for attracting exceptional talent to our organization. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in implementing effective sourcing techniques and managing the entire recruitment lifecycle, from identifying the right candidates to onboarding.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with hiring managers across multiple departments to understand their specific needs and tailor recruitment strategies accordingly. Your strong analytical and problem-solving abilities will help you identify trends and gaps in our current hiring processes, enabling you to make data-driven decisions that improve overall efficiency. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will ensure that candidates have a positive experience throughout the interview process.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of recruiters, providing direction, support, and development opportunities. Cultivate a collaborative, positive and high-performing team environment.
Build and Implement Recruitment Strategies: Carry out comprehensive talent acquisition strategies to attract top talent. This involves bringing to bear different sourcing methods, like job boards, direct sourcing, social networks, and referral programs.
Collaboration: Work closely with hiring managers and human resources business partners to understand organization structure and team design. Provide direction and support throughout the recruitment process.
High-Volume Recruiting: Lead high-volume recruiting efforts, ensuring timely and effective hiring to meet business needs. Implement strategies to handle large applicant pools and maintain a streamlined process to meet ambitious hiring deadlines.
Data-Driven Decision Making: Apply recruitment metrics and data to evaluate and improve the hiring process. Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reports to HR and functional Leadership.
Employer Branding: Elevate the company's employer brand by promoting a positive and engaging candidate experience. Collaborate with human resources and the business to build and implement recruitment marketing strategies to attract top talent.
Compliance and Best Practices: Support compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations. Stay updated on industry trends and standard processes in talent acquisition.
Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external recruitment agencies and vendors, negotiating contracts as needed. Evaluate vendor performance based on recruitment metrics and make recommendations for changes or improvements.
Cultivate partnerships with educational institutions and professional organizations for potential recruitment opportunities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Assists with various research projects and/or special projects.
This position will be expected to be in the Herndon office and travel to other locations as needed.
Performs other related duties as required.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or related field required.
Minimum of five years of recruiting experience.
Experience leading a recruitment team or function preferred.
At least two years using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment software, including creating job postings, candidate management, candidate sourcing, and data analytics.
At least two years working with recruitment best practices, employment laws and regulations, multiple sourcing methods and tools.
At least two years of experience with Microsoft Excel, including using formulas, pivot tables, v-lookups, and macros.
