Nakupuna Consulting is seeking a Mid Data Analyst to support NAVSEA 04 (Industrial Operations) strategic planning products. This individual will support NAVSEA 04’s mission of getting ships to sea and maintaining readiness. The person will assist the NAVSEA 04 Program Manager in leading a team across activities including legislative support related to the mission. Responsibilities
Communicate effectively and deliver high-quality documentation. Support 04Q as a Data Analyst. Organize material, perform data analytics, and complete writing assignments following standards for clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology. Create/update databases and analyze data in formats compatible with NAVSEA-approved platforms, supporting NSS-SY programs. Maintain and access SEA 04 information on NMCI NIPRNET, SIPRNET, and other enterprise repositories. Clean and correct datasets, removing duplicates and fixing errors. Gather and analyze technical info, creating SQL queries to retrieve data. Apply data mining techniques to large datasets to identify patterns and relationships. Create visual representations like reports and dashboards via Microsoft Teams or similar platforms. Interpret data, identify problems and solutions, and provide actionable insights. Define KPIs and track metrics aligned with strategic goals. Qualifications
Skills/Qualifications:
Experience in NAVSEA, data analysis, program/project management, and familiarity with DoD/Navy processes. Effective communication with senior personnel and supervisory experience are required. PMP certification is a plus. Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in a technical or managerial discipline; at least 5 years of relevant experience in defense or Navy acquisition, program management, or related fields. Experience with Qlik, Databricks, Power BI, and Tableau is preferred. Clearance:
Secret security clearance required, with the ability to obtain a CAC. U.S. citizenship is mandatory. Physical Requirements:
Ability to perform repetitive motions, follow audible communications, and sit for prolonged periods. Compensation
The projected salary range is $90,000 to $105,000 annually, based on market and experience. Additional Details
