Vice President – Fraud Strategy | Analytics | Banking & Financial Services We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Vice President – Fraud Strategy to lead high-impact analytics initiatives within the banking and financial services sector. This role focuses on shaping fraud prevention strategies, overseeing large-scale analytics programs, and partnering with executive stakeholders to drive measurable business outcomes. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership: Define and execute fraud analytics strategies, including rule governance, fraud risk frameworks, and real-time fraud detection solutions. Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with C-suite executives and senior leadership, ensuring alignment of fraud strategies with business priorities. Team Development: Lead and mentor multidisciplinary teams across analytics, data science, and fraud strategy to foster innovation and technical excellence. Project Execution: Oversee end-to-end delivery of fraud prevention initiatives—from design to deployment—ensuring scalability, compliance, and measurable impact. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with sales, product, engineering, and operations teams to align fraud prevention initiatives with organizational goals. Industry Thought Leadership: Represent the organization at conferences, contribute to whitepapers, and promote best practices in fraud prevention and analytics. Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or related field (advanced degree preferred). 12+ years of experience in analytics, AI, or data science leadership roles, ideally in consulting or financial services. 8+ years of experience in Fraud Strategy, including seller risk, application fraud, and transaction fraud management. Proficiency with fraud rule writing and governance, as well as analytical tools such as Hive, PySpark, SQL, Python, Tableau (or equivalent). Proven ability to design and deploy real-time fraud solutions leveraging analytics and internal tools. Strong business acumen, with a track record of converting technical solutions into strategic value for financial institutions or fintechs. Exceptional communication and executive stakeholder management skills. Ability to travel as required. Impact: This is a high-visibility role influencing fraud prevention strategy at an enterprise level. Seniority level
