Vehicle Manufacturing Engineer As part of our Manufacturing team, you’ll help build the world-class, state-of-the-art smart vehicles we're known for. We are seeking a candidate to fill the position of Vehicle Operations Engineering (VME) Final Assembly Engineering (FAE) Manufacturing Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for driving quality improvements and warranty reductions in our assembly plants, as well as implementing preventive actions for future programs. VME FAE is responsible for ensuring current model quality and launching future programs with zero defects and zero warranty at Job 1. The team focuses on addressing current model quality concerns (reducing R/1000), managing VME responsibilities for minor programs and running changes at our assembly plants, and leading the implementation of tools, technologies, and error-proofing measures to improve quality and resolve process/manufacturing issues. Skills Required: Lead data-driven analysis of current model quality concerns and manufacturing-related issues on the plant floor. Identify, develop, and deliver ICAs, PCAs, and PRAs for quality concerns and manufacturing issues. Collaborate cross-functionally with Plant Engineering, Product Development, Vehicle Program Engineers, Quality Offices, STA, VME FAE Core, Manufacturing Program Teams, and other groups. Engage SMEs and various teams for assistance in driving quality improvements. Utilize data from VRT health charts to prioritize response actions for maximum R/1000 reduction. Lead management report outs and represent VME FAE at VRT functions. Implement tools, technologies, and error-proofing measures to enhance quality and resolve issues. Manage responsibilities for minor programs and running changes, including assessing manufacturing feasibility, estimating costs, updating concerns, and processing purchase orders. Perform in-plant trials and prove-outs related to engineering concerns and actions. Support updates to GSPAS, PFMEA, control plans, delta audits, GERT investigations, ECN maintenance, change control, and VME initiatives. Provide support for containment on stop ships and incoming quality. Participate in daily quality meetings, regional meetings, plant VQRs, and warranty binning meetings. Support corporate labor initiatives. Experience Required: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. Experience in Automotive Manufacturing Engineering. Experience with automotive assembly tooling, processes, and facilities. Experience with error-proofing, vision equipment, and fastening technologies. Willingness to travel as needed to support North American assembly plants and FAE team members. Additional Skills: Strong project management and result-oriented mindset. Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and 3D CAD review tools (Teamcenter, VisMockup, CATIA, or equivalent). Excellent communication and presentation skills. Understanding of PFMEA and failure mode avoidance principles. Knowledge of systems like FEDE, WERS, GSPAS/APT, Teamcenter. Ability to work under stress, resolve problems promptly, and work independently. Education:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Engineering. Additional Information:
