: Lead Software Engineer positions offered by Cox Automotive Corporate Services, LLC (Atlanta, Georgia). Lead team of software developers and engineers, providing technical guidance, mentorship and coaching to ensure they are meeting their goals and deadlines. Monitor the performance of the data platform and take steps to optimize its performance and reliability. Work closely with other teams to identify opportunities to leverage data to improve business outcomes and develop data-driven solutions. Stay apprised of the latest trends and technologies in data management and analytics and make recommendations on how to incorporate them into the data platform. Identify and mitigate technical risks, ensuring the data platform meets security and compliance results. Design, develop and maintain our data platform, ensuring that it meets the needs of the organization and is scalable, reliable and performant. Define and maintain software development standards and best practices, ensuring they are followed by team. Mentor junior team members. Minimum Requirements

: Requires a bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in computer science, electrical and computer engineering, or related field and 6 years of experience programming with languages Python, Java or Scala. Also requires 6 years of experience automating building, testing, and deploying software and building CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins tool.In lieu of a bachelor’s degree in the aforementioned fields and 6 years of experience as stated, the employer will accept a master’s or foreign equivalent degree in the aforementioned fields and 4 years of experience as stated, or a Ph.D. or foreign equivalent degree in the aforementioned fields and 1 year of experience as stated. Also requires experience or graduate-level coursework in: data warehousing and data modeling; developing software with a focus on data management and analytics; utilizing cloud platforms AWS, Azure or Cloud Platform; and utilizing Agile software development methodologies. Position reports to Atlanta, GA office. Telecommuting permitted in accordance with company policy, but must live within commuting distance of stated office . Compensation includes a base salary of $149,760- $224,750. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program. The Company offers eligible employees the flexibility to take as much vacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties, the company’s needs, and its obligations; seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year; and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually for their own wellness or that of family members. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
