General Summary of Position
The incumbent in this position will support, maintain, and distribute inventory of medical supplies and equipment to nursing units and other designated areas, fulfilling electronic and manual requisitions. All functions are performed in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and Georgetown University Hospital's policies, procedures, and standards.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Support and maintain accurate product needs, inventories, and replenish supplies based on established par levels.
Maintain Par Locations with accurate labels, identify demand changes, and ensure cleanliness and accuracy of supply areas.
Recognize and communicate supply needs changes, report to supervisor, and support adjustments accordingly.
Process all non-automated supply requests for supplemental inventory, including open shelf par carts and other supplies based on unit needs.
Deliver medical equipment and supplies to and from designated areas.
Conduct routine physical inventory to ensure accurate data within the inventory management systems.
Assist the Storeroom Staff with inventory counts, data entry, and general storeroom maintenance as needed.
Maintain accurate records of all transactions within the Storeroom and inventory systems, verifying order accuracy and reporting discrepancies.
Clean, maintain, and deliver medical equipment and storage areas following established procedures.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment across all assigned areas.

Perform other duties as assigned, consistent with the scope of the position.
Minimum Qualifications Education:
High School Diploma or GED required Experience:
1-2 years warehouse experience preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to adapt to a healthcare environment and communicate effectively orally and in writing. Problem-solving skills and adaptability to change. Ability to perform mathematical functions and read effectively. Basic computer skills preferred.
