General Summary of Position The incumbent in this position will support, maintain, and distribute inventory of medical supplies and equipment to nursing units and other user areas as assigned, fulfilling electronic and manual requisitions. All functions are performed in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and Georgetown University Hospital's policies, procedures, and standards. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Support and maintain accurate product needs, inventories, and replenish supplies based on established par levels. Maintain the Par Locations, including updating labels, identifying demand changes, and ensuring cleanliness and accuracy. Recognize and communicate supply needs changes, report recommendations to supervisors, and support adaptations accordingly. Process all supply requests not automated via the Order Entry System, including open shelf par carts and supplemental supplies based on unit needs. Deliver medical equipment and supplies to and from usage areas as assigned. Conduct routine physical inventories of assigned areas to ensure accurate data within Pxyis and open Par Carts. Collaborate with the Storeroom Staff on inventory needs, data entry, and general maintenance of the storeroom. Maintain accurate records of all transactions within the Storeroom and Pxyis, verify order accuracy, and report discrepancies. Clean, maintain, and deliver medical equipment and storage areas following established procedures. Maintain a safe and clean work environment in all assigned areas. Exemplify Commitment to Caring standards in all activities, including patient experience and safety. Perform additional duties as assigned, including notifying supervisors of supply needs, cleaning, reviewing communication boards, and completing required education.

Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. 1-2 years of warehouse experience preferred. Certification as a Sterile Processing and Distribution Tech (CSPDT) within 1 year required or certification in Sterile Processing Management (CSPM). Ability to adapt to healthcare environment, communicate effectively, solve problems, perform mathematical functions, and read. Basic computer skills preferred.
