What to Expect
We are looking for an Electrical, Mechanical, or Systems Engineer to serve as a member of the Reliability and Test team to develop and implement test programs for electric vehicle high voltage distribution components and subsystems such as chargeport, HV harness, HV connectors powertrain technologies.
What You'll Do
Develop and implement test programs for electric vehicle powertrain technologies
Work directly with design engineers to create design validation test plans
Design and fabrication of test equipment for mechanical, thermal, and electrical systems
Perform component, system, and vehicle validation under dynamic and environmental conditions
Work with design engineers to validate and refine models
Analyze test data and write test reports
Investigate root cause of failures and help to drive product improvement
What You'll Bring
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
2+ years of experience in physical testing and analysis of mechanical, thermal, or electrical systems
Automotive component/system testing experience, including certification testing
Experience with Python, Matlab, or other data acquisition and analysis software
Design of test setups for mechanical and thermal performance testing, such as fixtures for shock and vibe testing
Experience creating and executing design validation plans and test methods to validate performance requirements
Experience creating analytical and numerical models of mechanical, thermal, or electrical systems
Working knowledge of heat transfer and thermal management

Expected Compensation $80,000 - $174,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
